Welcome to this week’s Link-Up! Have a real food meal plan or recipe to share? Our Monday Meal Plan link-up is now open to all real food posts and meal plans!

We do have a couple of guidelines for you to follow, if you would be so kind:

1. Please only link-up real food recipes on this page. If I find a recipe that is not real food (i.e. includes white flour, white sugar, sweetened condensed milk, etc.) it will be deleted! Rule of thumb: if it is processed, please don’t post it!
2. It is common courtesy to include a simple text link back to www.modernalternativekitchen.com.
3. Visit the other links in this post and find some great recipes for your meal plan! Have fun, and maybe even discover some new recipes along the way!

This week’s Meal Plan is from our contributor, Michaela. Thanks Michaela for sharing with us here at Modern Alternative Kitchen!

Lunches will be leftovers and revamps of leftovers. If we don’t have leftovers, we will whip up some Cowboys Beans, Egg Roll in a Bowl or Huevos Ranch-tatoes. Our drink of the week will be iced vanilla red tea, and I’ll make a gluten free cake for this week’s dessert. Snacks will consist of raw veggies and homemade ranch dip, fruit and yogurt dip, cheese and crackers.

Monday, December 10

Breakfast: Homemade yoghurt (drizzled with local, raw Honey; a splash of homemade vanilla extract and a sprinkle of raw Sunflower Seeds), Egg Drink

Dinner: Loaded chili, gluten free Cornbread

Tuesday, December 11

Breakfast: Gluten Free Coffee Cake, Smoothies

Dinner: General Tso’s Chicken, Rice

Wednesday, December 12

Breakfast: Homemade Sausage, Eggs, Fruit Salad, Milk

Dinner: Slow Cooker Lemon Herb Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, gluten free Beer Bread

Thursday, December 13

Breakfast: Chocolate Granola with Milk

Dinner: Chicken with Curried Tomato Sauce, Rice, Peas

Friday , December 14

Breakfast: Broth, Eggs, Fruit, Hot Cocoa

Dinner: Beef & Potatoes, steamed Broccoli

Saturday, December 15

Breakfast: Gluten Free Donut Holes, Smoothies

Dinner: Grilled Steak and Shrimp, Sauteed Kale, Corn, Mashed Potatoes

Sunday, December 16

Breakfast: Bacon, Eggs, Toast, Fruit, Coffee or Milk

Lunch/Dinner: Graze All Day : Potato Soup, Rolls and Veggie Tray

  2. I love that you have Graze all day as the plan for Sunday. That’s pretty much what we do too! That egg drink for breakfast sounds really interesting. I might have to try it out myself though, before I pitch it to my husband as his breakfast. Thanks for letting me link up with yall!
