Monday Meal Plan 8/20-8/26

I use daily dinner themes to help me with my meal planning. Each night of the week has a different theme, and I have a list of meals for each one. That way, when I sit down to plan meals for the week, all I have to do is pick one from each category, and I’m good to go. I change my themes seasonally or when I get bored. Right now I’m using these:

Monday: Soup or Main Dish Salad
Tuesday: Sandwiches
Wednesday: Italian
Thursday: Mexican
Friday: Pizza
Saturday: Meat or Fish
Sunday: Leftovers

Breakfasts stay pretty much the same each week, so my brain doesn’t have to work too hard on that either. If we don’t have leftovers for lunch, I whip up some tuna salad, egg salad, or mac & cheese.
