On Thursday, we chatted about fats: what makes them good and how to use them. Let’s put our knowledge to work and whip up a power-packing, satisfying dish, filled with some good fat and protein. This recipe features raw, extra virgin coconut oil, offering metabolism and immune strengtheners as well as antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Walnuts, like coconut oil are high in omega-3. Brain-boosting walnuts round things off nicely with their high protein and fiber content. Dates are high in several minerals and the fat in coconut oil and walnuts allow your body to absorb them.
